Tom will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. He fought a very courageous battle with a stroke that took him from all of us. Tom loved watching the grandsons play baseball games, so many to mention, from little league to pro baseball—and a great-granddaughter playing soccer. Tom was married to Carol Maly for twenty-four years. A U.S. Army veteran and devoted Catholic, he worked at Roberts Dairy for thirty-four years. He was a serious Husker, Yankee, Celtic, and Jets fan. He was a member of the South Omaha Eagles Aerie #154 and Gretna American Legion Post #216. He served as a Board Member for Roberts Credit Union, and was employed most recently at Manheim Auto Auction where he was better known as the “KID.”

VISITATION Monday, 3pm-7pm at the West Center Chapel, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Tuesday, 10am, St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park with military rites by Gretna American Legion Post 216.

Dear Carol and family, We are still shocked and saddened by the loss of Tom. He was such a wonderful friend to my dad since their time at Roberts dairy together. I'm sure they are enjoying a few stories and laughs together even now! You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Dear Carol and Tom's family. Some of my first memories are of Tom's father delivering our mail to our farm 6 miles from Creighton. I have known the Maly family all my life and am sure the world is a better place because of them and Tom. My sympathy and prayers are with you. Charlie Thompson, St. Ludger class of 1960

Our work and travel schedules will not let us get into Omaha for tom's funeral or visitation so we want to let you know that you and your family are in our prayers and thoughts. Tom could always put a smile on our faces and we will miss that. I called him "Tomater" and he called me "Haftimer" when we were is school and we still would exchange those names today. Will miss him at the alumni banquet and the fun times he brought to everyone. Tom had a full life and it was a great pleasure to know him as a true friend. God Bless You All!
